This Privacy Policy explains how Roll Off Rental App ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Jason Derr (The Computer Guy), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit rolloffrentalapp.com or sign up for our hosted roll-off rental software.

Information we collect

• Account & business details you provide at signup: business name, contact name, email address, phone number, and your chosen subdomain.
• Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we retain only Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and billing status.
• Messaging consent records: if you opt in to text messages, we record that consent (date, time, and the number provided) to comply with carrier and TCPA requirements.
• Support records: messages you send us and tickets you open, so we can help you.
• Technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) and a session cookie required for secure signup.

How we use information

• To create, provision, and operate your branded site at yourcompany.rolloffrentalapp.com.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send account, provisioning, onboarding, and support notifications by email and (with your consent) text.
• To provide customer support and respond to tickets.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

Text messaging

Account and status text messages are described in our SMS Terms. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in information or consent with third parties, and we do not use it for third-party marketing. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us run the service, and only as needed:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Hosting & infrastructure — to host your site and our platform.
• Our messaging provider and mobile carriers — to deliver email and text notifications.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data retention

We keep account, billing, and consent records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and compliance purposes. You may request deletion of information that we are not required to retain.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Your choices

• Opt out of texts anytime by replying STOP; reply HELP for help.
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing jason.derr@thecomputerguy.cc.

Children's privacy

Our service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective" date above reflects the latest version, and material changes will be posted at https://rolloffrentalapp.com/privacy.php.
